What you get
Cartesia's older models page says sonic-2 and every sonic-2-* snapshot, and sonic-turbo and every sonic-turbo-* snapshot, stop working after October 20, 2026. The sonic-3-2025-10-27 snapshot sunsets the same day. Cartesia first announced this in its July 2026 changelog.

Steps
- Search your code and settings for
sonic-2,sonic-turboandsonic-3-2025-10-27. - Switch to
sonic-3.6, which always points to the newest stable snapshot, or pinsonic-3.6-2026-08-27if you need output that never changes. - Listen to the new voice output before you ship.
Test it
Generate one clip with sonic-3.6 and the voice ID you used before, and check it plays.
