What you get
A deadline. On October 5, 2026 Supabase announced that the Hono, H3, Elysia and NestJS adapters in @supabase/server are deprecated and will be removed on December 1, 2026. Their notice says to move to the framework bridges described in the frameworks guide.
Prerequisites
- A project that uses
@supabase/server with one of those four frameworks
Steps
- Check whether this affects you. Search your code for imports from
@supabase/server that mention Hono, H3, Elysia or NestJS. If you find none, there is nothing to do.
- If you use one, open Supabase's frameworks guide and follow the bridge for your framework.
- Make the change before December 1, and before you next update
@supabase/server, since a version released after that date won't include the adapters.
Test it
After switching, sign in and load a page that reads from your database, to confirm sessions still work the same way.
Not confirmed
- This entry has no code because the changelog notice doesn't include any. The exact replacement code is in Supabase's frameworks guide, which this entry has not reproduced.
- Supabase's other server helpers are not mentioned in the notice. Only these four adapters are listed.
