Prerequisites

Claude Code installed
A Zapier account (you can create one during sign-in)
On Claude Team or Enterprise plans, an Owner may need to approve MCP servers

Steps

Add the Zapier MCP server over HTTP:

claude mcp add --transport http "Zapier-MCP" https://mcp.zapier.com/api/v1/connect

Restart Claude Code.
When prompted, sign in to Zapier. Zapier creates and configures your server during this sign-in, so there is no need to create one at mcp.zapier.com first.
Alternative: install the official plugin with /plugin install zapier@claude-plugins-official, or add the marketplace with /plugin marketplace add zapier/zapier-mcp and then run /plugin install zapier@zapier-plugins.
